I’ve been fired 26 times in the last seven years by taking unpopular stands and being brutally honest. Within three years, 22 of those clients called back to apologise and to continue from where we had left off. The passage of time had shown them the accuracy and wisdom of my counsel.

Fun

As successful business leaders we tend to take ourselves a little too seriously. Work should be serious fun.

Family

How important is your family to you? I would put my family over my clients and would expect my clients to put their family over me. At times we have to make difficult decisions between family and work. Let’s choose family.

Requests For Presentations

I don’t do requests for presentation, if you have found your way here then you know the value I create for my clients, so  NO presentations, tenders, or bidding for contracts.

Mutual Respect
I don’t work for clients, I work with clients. As the old saying goes, treat others as you expect to be treated – with respect.

Value

When the stakes are high, companies and stakeholders look to me to help them find the right answers and to deliver executable solutions. Whether engaged as a strategic advisor to the board or a mentor to leaders, I bring positive change to create sustainable value.

Warning

I am not cheap. Consider this, if you were informed by your doctor that you needed heart surgery, would you sit down and look through the Yellow Pages and then start getting quotes for the best price or would you go and get the best heart surgeon? If price is an issue, I am happy to suggest less experienced speakers, strategists, mentors or consultants. Simply put, you get what you pay for.
