Want to Take Your Business to The Next Level?
Every month, twelve of the most successful business leaders in Scotland meet behind closed doors at The Scottish Boardroom to discuss strategies and tactics, share ideas and best practices, and push each other to take their already successful business over the top.
It’s lonely at the top, not just because you’re responsible for your entire enterprise or because you’re expected to have all the answers, but because there are so few individuals who have had similar experiences.
“We learn best when we learn from our peers, but when you’re at the top of your industry, peers are hard to come by”.It’s Mind-Blowing How Much You Will Accomplish When You Know Exactly What Your Next Steps Are Going To Be.
The Scottish Boardroom is a mastermind group on steroids. It’s a cross-industry group of highly successful business people dedicated to one goal—helping each other take their businesses over the top.
It’s an Exclusive Group
The Scottish Boardroom isn’t for everyone. To be eligible, you must be running a business bringing in three million or more per year. That’s not because we’re snobbish or look down on those running smaller businesses. It’s because successful businesses face challenges that smaller businesses do not. It’s because the strategies and tactics we use to expand our businesses would be useless or harmful if used on smaller businesses.
Power of Synergy
Twelve minds are better than two. The purpose of the Scottish Boardroom is to create the kind of synergy that comes when a small group of talented, dedicated people devotes their full energies to a single problem. We all have different backgrounds and experiences. None of us can know everything. Together we have a wealth of ideas and when we discuss and critique those ideas with our true peers, the results are often magic.
The Scottish Boardroom will serve as your informal board of directors. We will listen, challenge, advise and validate your experiences.
“You won’t simply hear new ideas and new information, you’ll learn new ways of looking at your business”.
No one understands the struggles of your success like a true peer. The members of the Scottish Boardroom are invested in each other and in each other’s businesses. The bonds of friendship that build in the Boardroom often translate to real-world business relationships.
The Boardroom places a strong emphasis on accountability. At the end of each session, each member is asked to commit to several goals for the coming month. Each member is assigned an accountability partner to work with. Both partners are held accountable at each meeting.
The Boardroom is results driven. There are other organizations that have tried to emulate what we have accomplished over the past 16 years. They haven’t succeeded because they don’t put enough emphasis on results.
Every 90 days, every member is required to provide solid evidence that he or she has made ten times their investment in the group. If they cannot, they face removal from the group. We don’t do this lightly and it’s not about the money.
The group can only improve if each and every member of it is growing. The group is a significant commitment of time and money, so if a member is holding the group back, removing them is the only responsible option.
The Power of Knowing the Next Step
It’s astonishing how much you can accomplish when you know what you’re going to do next. So often in business, we get buried in the weeds of cutting costs here, converting better there, or eking out a two or three percent increase in revenue from something else. These are all good things, but they aren’t where truly transformational success comes from. Taking your business over the top means truly knowing your why.
There are a lot of difficult decisions in business. Most of them become easier—and some of them become downright simple—when you know your why. When you discuss your ideas with the Scottish Boardroom, we’ll help you drill down on the why. When you do so, you’ll learn how to judge the success or failure of a particular strategy.
“Even more importantly, you’ll understand on a fundamental level what that success or failure will teach you—and that’s the secret”.
The Secret Weapon
My name is Moe Nawaz and I’m the man behind the Scottish Boardroom. I have mentored millionaires and been a strategic advisor to more FTSE 100 leaders than I can mention. I have helped my clients earn in excess of £760 million and served clients in America, Canada, Dubai, Germany, Turkey, South Africa, Iran, China, Russia, India, Italy, and France. My background is unique; my perspective is broad, and I go where the business is.
I developed the Scottish Boardroom because peer learning is the best learning and I wanted to ensure that I was always, always, learning from perspectives other than mine.
Those who join the Scottish Boardroom often tell me that they expected a lot when they joined but got far more than they dreamed. Nobody has ever told me that missing out on the Scottish Boardroom was the best thing that ever happened to them. We cannot accept everyone—fewer than 60% make the cut—but for those who are, it’s often a life-altering experience.
Eligibility to Join
This is an exclusive group and it is not something for everyone. You must have an existing business which has sales greater than £3 million before being considered.
